Malaria in Pregnancy (MiP)

This project supports research to improve uptake of malaria intermittent preventive treatment in pregnancy (IPTp3) and strengthen community empowerment through digital tools. It aligns with Cameroon’s national malaria priorities and will integrate the WHO Community Health Digital Adaptation Kit once officially launched. In Phase I, situational assessment with stakeholders was conducted to identify key system and community-level barriers to generating reliable data including gaps and MiP indicators. Phase II will contextualize priority indicators and integrate WHO digital guidance to strengthen data gaps and community-level malaria prevention and service delivery.
