Rayan Alkhalefi is an Honours Biomedical Science student with a minor in Sociology at the University of Ottawa. She is passionate about exploring the intersection between biological sciences and social factors, examining how gender, culture, and technology shape health outcomes and healthcare access. With a growing interest in global health and medical equity, Rayan aims to bridge scientific research with a deeper understanding of the human experience in medicine.

Rayan enjoys learning about different cultures, volunteering with patients, traveling, spending time with her puppy and cats, and living a healthy lifestyle through fitness and nutritious cooking.
