Selena is a Health Sciences student at the University of Ottawa with interests in women’s health, reproductive health, and health equity. She is involved in research projects focused on maternal health and health professions education. Outside of research, she is the Founder and President of HERScience, a student-led organization dedicated to women’s health education and empowerment, and has been involved in organizing charitable initiatives supporting health-related causes, including a fundraiser sponsored by CHEO. She enjoys working on projects that explore ways to improve healthcare experiences and access to care, particularly for underserved communities.
